Deanne Fordham School of Dance (DFSD) was established in 2001. The Principal, Deanne Fordham, has over 20 years experience in the dance industry, a Diploma in Tap Dance, a Certificate in Dance Teaching & Management, an Assiciate Member of C.S.T.D and a member of JazzAddict Australasia.
Over the last 8 years the school has established some excellent class programs for children, teenagers and adults and we plan to expand the facilities and classes even further.
Our main studio is located at 5/19-23 Clarinda Road, Oakleigh South. This is a large, purpose designed, unit offering 2 studios with sprung timber flooring, mounted barres, mirrors, air-conditioning & fans and a quality sound system.
The studio boasts a large parent’s waiting room with air-conditioning & ducted heating, student wait and change area, free tea & coffee, kitchenette, shower facilities, toddler play corner, TV and DVD facilities and plenty of off-street parking.

"We seek to promote dance as both a recreational hobby and an art form, and we aim to provide our students the opportunity to participate and view dance as an educational tool, recreational activity, and performing art. One of our core motivations is to stimulate the imagination of our students - to understand their potential artistic talent, and to encourage self-confidence & personal growth."
